Ichiro’s Malt Chichibu Peated The US Edition 2020 ole-smoky Much of the intrinsic characteristicsChichibu was founded in 2004 by Ichiro Akuto, and operational from 2008, it was the first new Japanese distillery since 1973. It is located at Chichibu, a city in Saitama Prefecture, Japan. Only 2,109 bottles of this exquisite peated single malt were produced at the Chichibu distillery in Japan. The whisky matured in a combination of ex bourbon, ex chibidaru, and sherry butts & hogsheads for 5 years before being bottled at 111 proof.
