SS Aksala, c1950. People; Buildings Portrait of a man inThis photo shows the SS Aksala stopped on shore. It has a barge out front. There is steam visible from the stack and by the paddlewheel. Two large tanks are visible on shore. This photo was taken from the upper deck of a passing sternwheeler. Note the barge up front with what appears to be fuel tanks.
