The systolic blood pressure of the hypertensive individuals (152.8217.72 mmHg) was significantly higher than that of the controls (119.0712.23 mmHg) (p = 0.001), while the diastolic blood pressure of the test subjects (108.985.89 mmHg) was significantly higher than the control values (91.084.72 mmHg) (p = 0.001).There was negative significant correlation between glutathione and hypertension (r = -0.405, p = 0.001)
