Finally, participant 06 stated, I feel less shame about my lifetime struggle with overweight and obesity, that my biology was working against me all the time. Thus, through an increased understanding of the role of physiology in obesity afforded by medication altering their physiology while taking it - participants experienced a new awareness or understanding of their past struggles
