Effect of Volume and Timing of Water Consumption: Single 10 mg doses of oral semaglutide (formulation R1) were administered with 50 mL or 240 mL of water after an 8-hour overnight fast and a continued fast of 4 hours post-dose in healthy subjects
Clinical trials demonstrate waist circumference reductions of approximately 9-10 cm with semaglutide and 14-18 cm with tirzepatide over treatment periods of 60-72 weeks
These results suggest that glial cells play a key role in the pathogenesis of PD, and in particular, the release of inflammatory cytokines in dopaminergic neurons may be one of the main mechanisms responsible for PD pathogenesis
