I acquired this Conrad Johnson system from a local collector in February of 2024
I'd consider this receiver to be a solid 9/10 - if not 9
and Pioneer offerings at the same time
but I know it sounded excellent in 2-channel mode which (in my humble opinion) is the way it should be enjoyed :D
I began replacing components
Upgraded McIntosh MC275 Mk1 I acquired this Conrad JohnsonHere's a fantastic McIntosh MC275 MK1 amplifier. The power supply caps were replaced and the amplifier is performing flawlessly. I installed a new cord for safety. The chassis is original with patina and a few flaws. The bottom cover is free from rust and corrosion. The transformers still have their original decals and the paint is original. There are 2 spots on the chassis towards the middle with some scratches. I'd rate the exterior cosmetics as 8
